Kendra’s time of 0:59.58 in 100 Fly was her first time breaking the 1 minute barrier.

Brittney Harley also set Provincial records in both the Women’s 15 to 17 and Senior age categories in 100 Breast. The Goldfin Relay of Brit Robson, Brittney Harley, Kendra Chernoff and Drew Matthews set the record in Senior Women’s 400 Medley Relay.

Sam Acton set records in the Senior Men’s 200 Breast and 100 IM.

Colin Miazga won a bronze medal in the men’s 400 free with a time of 3:52.68. This was a 7.90 second best time for Colin! Well Done. Colin also finished 4th in 100 Free and 200 Free.

Other top 8 finishes were achieved by Sam and Kendra. Both finished 6th; Sam in 200 Breast and Kendra in 100 Fly.

Kendra and Colin each achieved 100% best times in their swims. This is a great accomplishment this early in the season for swimmers at this level.

Starting the season off with 12 new provincial records is very impressive and is very exciting.

Swim Saskatchewan congratulates the above swimmers for setting new provincial records as well as all the other swimmers that were at the meet.
