MONTREAL – National team swimmer Jennifer Carroll has joined Club CAMO’s swimming coaching staff. Carroll will head the 10 and under age group as well as the swimming school.
Carroll was the 2002 word short course champion in the 50 backstroke. She has competed at five worlds championships overall and two World University Games. She has won several medals at the national and international levels and established numerous Canadian records.
She also launched a summer sports camp in Trois-Rivières and headed a technical camp in Ontario from 2006 to 2008. She has also conducted several swimming conferences.
Carroll is currently studying business administration at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. Those studies will come in handy as she will also fulfill administrative duties at the club.
She plans to continue her competitive swimming career for the 2008-2009 season.
Carroll replaces Geneviève Frappier, a former national level swimmer, who held the position at the club for the past two years.
