Mark your calendars and tell all your friends! Victor – the Victor Davis movie is finally set to air this Sunday on Canadian television. The special 2-hour movie on the life of Canadian Olympian Gold Medalist Victor Davis, will premiere on CBC Television on January 13th at 8 pm, and will star Canadian writer and actor Mark Lutz (Angel, Friends, E.R) as Victor.

Mark Lutz felt compelled to tell a story about Victor, who was a childhood swimming hero to Mark in his own years as a competitive swimmer. His passion for the sport and admiration of Victor as a childhood hero led him to write this inspirational yet tragic story of Victor’s life. The story focuses on the two years between Victor’s record-breaking swims at the 1982 World Championships in Guayaquil, Ecuador and his gold medal victory at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles to the final three days of his life, with flashbacks to his days as a young boy.

Victor is directed by Jerry Ciccoritti (Trudeau, Net Worth), and produced by Bernard Zukerman (Heart: The Marilyn Bell Story, Million Dollar Babies).
