Postcard from Japan: Paralympic Swim Team Concludes Staging Camp

Osaka, Japan – On August 31st, after 8 days of training in Japan, the Canadian Paralympic swim team is gearing up to enter the Paralympic Village in Beijing.

The 21-member swim team enjoyed a successful staging camp in Osaka and they are looking forward to racing in the Water Cube. As soon as they land in Beijing, their focus will be on fine tuning their preparation and getting ready to take on the rest of the world during the 9 day meet.

The Paralympics begin September 6th thru 17th with the swimming events running September 7th thru 15th.
