Spokane,WA (ISN) –– The Brandon Wheat Kings arrive in Spokane, Washington Tuesday morning and will have a short period of time to prepare for the opening game of their 7-game thirteen day west coast road trip.

The 4-1-0-1 Wheat Kings, who are coming off a 3-game Western Hockey League homestand that saw them win two of three including Friday’s 6-3 victory over the Prince George Cougars, left Brandon on Thanksgiving Monday after their scheduled practice at Westman Place.

Brandon begins the tour with 24 players on its roster – two goalkeepers, 9 defenceman and thirteen forwards.

The Wheat Kings will return to Brandon on Sunday, October 23rd but won’t play again until they kick off a 2-game weekend homestand against the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors on Friday, October 28th.
