Suneil Karod Hoping To Bring Home The Gold

Suneil Karod is on his way to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan today.

The Victoria Cougars assistant coach is part of Team British Columbia’s coaching staff at this year’s Western Canada U16 Challenge Cup being held from October 27-30.

All games will be played at Mosaic Place, home of the Moose Jaw Warriors.

The Western Canada U16 Challenge Cup, which occurs every other year, consists of teams from Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

Only the highest rated players in the U16 category are eligible to play.

Joe Hicketts, selected in the first round (12th overall) by the Victoria Royals in the 2011 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft, will be playing for Team BC.
