Donation to Mustard Seed gets fans free entry to Saturday hoops contests at UVic

VICTORIA – Fans attending the Saturday night’s men’s and women’s basketball games between the University of Victoria Vikes and Brandon Bobcats are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to help the less fortunate in the community.

Food collected will be donated to the Mustard Seed and Goldstream Food Banks. Fans who bring three or more non-persihable food items with them will be automatically be entered for a chance to play a game on centre court for prizes and can collect bonus Ocean Platinum points.

The collection of non-persihable food items is part of the Food Fight between The Ocean 98.5 FM and 103.1 JACK FM. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION

The Vikes women (1-1) and Vikes men (2-0, ranked No. 8 in the CIS) open their regular season on Friday night against the Regina Cougars (w-6 p.m. / m-8 p.m.) and then host Brandon on Saturday night (w-5 p.m. / m –7 p.m.).
