In today’s round of PACWEST basketball action, the hosting Camosun College Chargers won both their games against the Langara College Falcons. While the Chargers women dominated their opponents from beginning to end winning by a whopping 29 pts (63-34), the Chargers men had to pull out all the stops to make an amazing comeback in the last two minutes of the game after the Falcons stole the lead in the third quarter.

Leading the Chargers to their first victory of the season were fourth-year wing Caitlin Marshall (St. Albert, AB) and second-year wing/point Aija Salvador (Oak Bay) who each posted 14 pts.

Second-year point guard Jordan Elvedahl (Stelly’s) led Camosun today with 20 pts. First-year forward James Blanford (Stelly’s) had another great night with 17 pts and 13 rebounds.

The Chargers head out to their first road games of the season next week against the Columbia Bible College Bearcats and the Douglas College Royals.
