Three members of the Kelowna Rockets will skate in the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge to be held in Windsor, ON this Christmas season.

Tyson Baillie of Fort Saskatchewan, AB, Jesse Lees of Calgary, have both been named to Team Pacific while Madison Bowey of Winnipeg, MB, has been named to Team West.

Baillie, who just turned 16, has three goals and seven assists for 10 points in 20 WHL games so far this season. He is also a plus 5 on the Rockets so far in his rookie season.

Lees rookie season with the Rockets has been slowed by injury and the defenceman is still week to week as he rehabs. His talent though had him named to the team. In nine games Lees has six points and is plus two.

Bowey started the season on the injured list but has returned to play a key role on the Rockets blueline. In 11 games so far this season the rookie has three goals.

The World Under-17 Hockey Challenge will take place Dec. 29, 2011 to Jan. 4 2012 in Windsor, Ontario.
