The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Victoria Royals 6-5 Saturday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna in a wild, back and forth game that went down to the final buzzer.

Brett Bulmer scored three times for the Rockets, while Carter Rigby, Colton Sissons and Tanner Moar, with his first Western Hockey League goal, also scored for the Rockets.

Robin Soudek, Kevin Sundher, B Magee, Logan Nelson and Zach Habscheid scored for the Royals, who nearly tied the game with a buzzer beater, but video review confirmed a possible tying goal went in after the final buzzer sounded.

The Rockets are back in action on Wednesday night when they continue a seven game home stand when they host Tri-City.
