SASKATOON, SK – Tonight the Saskatoon Blades unveiled a special uniform as they played host to the Vancouver Giants. The special edition white, black and red uniform honoured the Saskatoon Quakers.

As a part of tonight’s festivities, the Saskatoon Blades were also looking to raise funds for prostate cancer awareness. Throughout the game, fans had a chance to bid on the game worn vintage sweaters.

When the bidding stopped, nearly $12,000 had been raised for the Leslie & Irene Dubé Urology Centre of Health at St. Paul’s Hospital.

The Saskatoon Blades would like to thank everyone who was involved in making the night a true success!
