Brody Coulter and Mark Walton scored two goals apiece as the Victoria Cougars doubled up on the Peninsula Panthers 4-2 on Grey Cup Sunday.

Victoria (19-4-1), which led 1-0 after one period and 3-1 after two, also received a pair of assists from Trevor Chown, Sam Rice, and Kyle Richter.

Tyler Porteous and Ryan Hunter replied for the Panthers (11-10-1).

The Cougars went 2-for-4 on the powerplay while Peninsula failed to convert on three opportunities.

Kiefer Giroux got the start in net and made 19 saves in the win.

The Panthers countered with Kylar Stern who turned aside 25-of-29 shots.

Next game for Victoria is Thursday, December 1 against the Campbell River Storm. Game time at the Archie Browning Sports Centre, located at 1151 Esquimalt Road, is 7:15 p.m.
