Americans Deliver Teddy Bears to Kennewick General Hospital

All Media Members,

The Tri-City Americans will be delivering teddy bears to Kennewick General Hospital and visiting the KGH Pediatric Ward on Monday, December 12 at 10:00 AM.

The teddy bears, which were collected as part of the Americans’ annual Fred Meyer Teddy Bear Toss game on December 3, will be donated to kids that visit the pediatric wing throughout the year. In total, Americans fans donated 2,537 stuffed animals at this year’s event, with toys being donated to several local charities around the Mid-Columbia.

This year, Americans players Brendan Shinnimin and Lukas Walter will be visiting kids and helping deliver the bears.

Media Members interested in covering this year’s participation in the Tri-City Herald Kids Day fundraiser should contact Dan Mulhausen to arrange details.
