Winterhawks General Manager & Head Coach Mike Johnston is spearheading “The Coaches’ Club”, a program that seeks to reward inspiring youth with a suite at a Winterhawks game.

The Winterhawks Coaches’ Club is accepting submissions about youth in the Portland/Southwest Washington area that are inspiring others through actions, courage or initiative. Winners will win a suite to a Winterhawks game at the Rose Garden, which will be hosted by the wives and girlfriends of Winterhawks coaches and trainers.

“There are lots of youth in the community doing great things to inspire others, but often their actions fly under the radar. Through the Coaches’ Club, we want them to know they’re appreciated,” said Johnston. “This program is a great way for people to reward youth they know who are making a difference in the community.”

To nominate a youth you know for the Coaches’ Club, write a summary of how they inspire others and email it to grahamk@winterhawks.com. Please put “Coaches’ Club” in the subject line of the email.

Five-game ticket plans are now available and start at just $60 per person and include five free gifts. Group rates start at 10 people ($16.50 per person) and every ticket includes a free Winterhawks hat. Call 503-236-HAWK or e-mail seats@winterhawks.com today to guarantee the best locations.
