Vancouver, BC: The BC Rugby Referee’s Society will be running a Level One Introduction to Officiating Course in conjunction with the 2012 BC Rugby Coaching Clinic and Professional Development Course on January 21st. The officiating course will include touch judging and assistant refereeing material.
The Officiating Course will be facilitated by David Pue and will run from 9:00am to 5:00pm at St. George’s School in Vancouver.
Attendance for the whole course is required and will cost $78.40 (70.00 + HST) payable to BC Rugby. Cost includes lunch on Saturday, instruction, print materials and the Rugby Canada registration fee.
Please also note that as a prerequisite for the course, participants must complete the IRB Law test http://www.irblaws.com and the online IRB Rugby Ready Course http://www.irbrugbyready.com. Registrants must submit their online IRB certificates to the Level One course conductor prior to receiving credit for the upcoming Level One Officiating course.
