Victoria, BC—The Victoria Track Series is pleased to announce that local FM radio station 100.3 the Q! (a division of the Jim Pattison Group) has agreed to sign on as Title Sponsor of the series for the third consecutive year.
Joining 100.3 the Q! is partner radio station, The Zone at 91.3—also for the third con-secutive year.
―Having the two most listened to radio stations in the Capital Region as the title sponsor helps the series. Their demographic depth of reach is outstanding as they cater to almost the entire span of all age groups with their modern and classic rock stations, as well as their websites www.theq.fm and www.thezone.fm/ says Christopher Kelsall Race Se-ries Director.
The Q’s Victoria Track Series is a multi-meet series that takes place over the spring and summer offering race distances from 400m (once around a track) and up to 10,000m. The Series takes place at the Jack Wallace Memorial Track at Oak Bay High School as well as at Centennial Stadium at the University of Victoria. All races happen on Saturdays at 6:30 PM.
Participants of all levels can enjoy watching their races at the series website as all races are recorded on video from several angles. The Series offers technical running shirts with a Season Pass, draw prizes and awards. Season Passes sell for as little as $40.
Single races, 4–packs, season pass and a Women’s Only 4-part clinic series are avail-able. Online registration and all information about the 2012 Q’s Victoria Track Series is available at www.victoriatrackseries.ca.
