Gordon & Black Ranked in NHL Central Scouting’s Midterm Rankings

Swift Current, SK – Swift Current Bronco forwards Coda Gordon and Graham Black were listed in the midterm rankings by NHL Central Scouting for the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

Gordon is ranked at 38th amongst all North American skaters in the midterm rankings and the fourth ranked WHL forward. The 6’1, 179 lbs. Cochrane, AB product is currently second on the team in goals (17) and tied for second in points (37). He also leads all WHL rookies in power play goals (8) and is second in power play assists (11) and power play points (19).

Black makes his first appearance on the NHL Central Scouting charts sitting at 53rd amongst all North American skaters and 7th amongst WHL forwards. The product of Regina, SK has tallied 12 goals and 15 assists in 41 games played this season. He currently sits 10th amongst rookies in the WHL in points with 27.

The 2012 NHL Entry Draft will be held June 22nd & 23rd 2012 at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
