Prince George, B.C. — The Cariboo Cougars are off to the annual BCMML All Star game this Friday to be played at the Poirier Sports and Leisure Complex in Coquitlam.

The Cats are heavily represented once again this year with six players taking part in the game and head coach Trevor Sprague manning the Team Blue bench.

Cougars defencemen Colton Manning and Ryan Gagnon suit up for Team Blue while forwards Nathan Craft, Tanner Fjellstrom, and Eli Jarvis join goaltender Nathan Warren on Team White.

Puckdrop for the All Star game is set for 7:00pm and can be viewed live at www.bcmml.net.

The Cougars will then focus their attention on a big weekend series with the Vancouver NE Chiefs Saturday and Sunday at Coquitlam’s Planet Ice complex. The Chiefs sit just one point back of the Cats in the standings with two games in hand. The Cougars took three of four points against the Chiefs at home in December. Puckdrop Saturday is set for 4:00pm.
