The Vikes were unable to penetrate the Cascades defence and spent the majority of the night on the perimeter and struggled with their shooting, going just 35% from the field and a paltry 30% from 3 point range. The Cascades field percentage wasn’t much better at 37% but the difference maker was their 11-16 (42%) performance from outside the arc.

Victoria who went into the half time break trailing by 10 put on a run in the 3rd quarter that saw them get to within 2 points but a poor 4th quarter, where they only managed 9 points to the Cascades 18 put the nail in coffin.

The games top scorer was Aieisha Luyken of the Cascades with 21 points while teammate Sarah Wierks pulled down 14 rebounds. Chelsea McMullen led the Vikes with 14 points with Sarah Semeniuk collecting 9 rebounds and Debbie Yeboah and Cassandra Goodis chipped in with 11 points each.
