Prince George, BC –The Prince George Cougars and Kellogg’s have teamed up to host Mascot Mania next Saturday, February 4th as the Cougars take on the Kelowna Rockets. Mascots including Tony the Tiger, Mardi Dog, Digger and Bones will join Rowdy Cat on ice for a game of soccer during the 1st intermission. In the 2nd intermission young fans are encouraged to visit the mascots in Section K for Rowdy Cat’s birthday celebration. A birthday cake will be provided courtesy of Ritz Bakery and kids will have the opportunity to sign Rowdy Cat’s birthday card.

On February 4th the Cougars will also welcome the Girl Guides of Canada for Guides Night and a sleepover at the CN Centre. The Girl Guides will perform the National Anthem and after the game they will enjoy a movie on the score clock.

“We had over 200 Girl Guides join us for Guides Night last season and we are looking forward to having them back again this year,” said Cougars Vice President Brandi Brodsky. “They brought a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the game and they were thrilled to have the opportunity to have a sleepover at the rink.”

In addition, fans are encouraged to bring donations of office and cleaning supplies or Hills Science Diet Small Bits cat and dog food to support the SPCA. Donations will be accepted in Section W.
