Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) recently recognized the best in rowing at its annual awards dinner, held this past weekend in Toronto, ON.
This year’s event at Ontario Place drew the largest crowd ever. “The award’s banquet just keeps getting better and better,” said Rowing Canada Aviron President Dr. Michael Murphy. “We are clearly thrilled by the excellence, breadth and depth of the Canadian rowing family.”

It was presented to Andrew Lamont of the Winnipeg Rowing Club, for his long-time involvement with RCA as past president of the Manitoba Rowing Association, and also for his achievements as a competitive athlete and advocate of rowing.
