Huskie Athletics Launch Centennial Walk in Prince Albert

On February 7, 2012, the U of S and Huskie Athletics will launch the Huskies Centennial Walk, a provincial fitness initiative, in celebration of Huskie Athletics Centennial. The Huskies Centennial Walk has been created to connect with youth and communities across Saskatchewan so they, too, can celebrate 100 years of Huskie Pride.

Chancellor Vera Pezer, U of S

Dean Carol Rodgers, College of Kinesiology at U of S

Howler, Huskie Athletics mascot

Men’s Hockey Players:

Craig McCallum – former PA Raider

Cody Hobbs – former national champion with the PA Mintos, former WHL player and a Carlton High School alum

Garrett Thiessen – former PA Raider

Women’s Basketball Players:

Erica Gavel – Carlton High School alum

Dalyce Emmerson – Carlton High School alum
