The T-Birds took a 1-0 lead 33 seconds into the third period on a power-play goal by Seth Swenson. Connor Honey got the puck to Shea Theodore at the left point. Theodore put a hard shot on goal with Swenson in front of Kelowna goalie Jordon Cooke. Swenson tipped Theodore’s shot past Cooke for the goal. The goal was Swenson’s fifth with the T-Birds since joining the team at the trade deadline from the Portland Winterhawks.

Seattle struck on the power play for a second time at 8:55 of the third. Theodore had the puck at the right point. He found Burke Gallimore in the left circle. Gallimore held the puck and then hit Colin Jacobs coming off the bench with a pass in the right circle. Jacobs skated in and put a snap shot over Cooke’s glove for his sixth goal of the year.

Kelowna (24-24-2-4) outshot Seattle 32-30 in the game.
