Las Vegas, NV (ISN) – The British Columbia Elite Youth Sevens teams were unstoppable during the 2012 Las Vegas International High School Sevens events.
The BC-1s captured the High School International Sevens title and the BC-3s also won their division, the Vegas High School ‘Open’ Sevens. The BC-2s took home some hardware, winning the Plate against Ontario.
Overall, the three teams went 14-1-1 with the only loss of the tournament a semifinal showdown between the BC-1 and BC-2 squads. The trip will be one to remember for the 36 BC Youth Sevens players where they were able to compete against some top teams, take in the International Rugby Board Las Vegas Sevens and spend some time together during the 25 hour bus rides between Vancouver and Vegas!
