(ISN) – The Lower Island Soccer Association is pleased to announce that Bruce Twamley who has previously coached both the Canadian Olympic and World Cup team has returned to coaching in Victoria with the Lower Island Soccer Associations Team Sales ID Program.

The ID program is open to LISA players aged 10 and 11 on an invitational basis and takes place on Sunday afternoons at Lakehill Soccer Associations Braefoot turf field.

The goal of the program is to identify players for opportunities with the British Columbia Soccer Associations Provincial Teams Program, and hopefully onto the National Teams Program.

“Bruce Twamley has coached and played at the very highest level and knows what it takes to get there. The ID program is a new program for us and we want to make sure that we give the players involved in this program the best chance to reach their maximum potential” said LISA head coach Andrew Latham.
