Charger Men Bring Home Bronze!

(ISN) – The Camosun Charger’s Men’s basketball team brought home the bronze medal from the PACWEST Championships after a 84-78 win over Capilano.

The Camosun College Chargers women were defeated in today’s Bronze medal game against the third-seeded Capilano Univesity Blues 75-52. Aija Salvador was the Player of the Game with 12 pts, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.

As Camosun’s last shot at bringing home a medal, the Chargers men took to the court following the women’s game and did not disappoint, pulling off an exciting 84-78 win against the fifth-seeded Capilano Blues. Camosun’s first-year forward Trevor Scheurmann earned Player of the Game scoring 24pts & 6 rebounds.

It has been four years since the Camosun men’s basketball squad has succeeded in bringing home the hardware; the men won BCCAA Bronze in 2008.
