Life Sport Coaching Offers Ultimate Triathlon Camp

Victoria (ISN) – Life Sport Coaching is offering Triathlete’s an ultimate opportunity to train in Victoria with some of the sport’s top professionals June 11-15th prior to the Saunders Subaru Elk Lake Triathlon.

Victoria is the training grounds of many of the legends in Triathlon – Simon Whitfield, Peter Reid, Melanie McQuaid, and most of the National Team. And there is a great reason – Victoria offers pristine lakes, quiet bike friendly roads, and endless running trails for the avid triathlete to indulge in. The training is hard to beat. Imagine spending a week training with some of the most world’s most renowned coaches and professional athletes while learning about the finer points of this great sport. Finish your week with an opportunity to race in one of Canada’s most historic races at picturesque Elk Lake.

Victoria is the home base of LifeSport Coaching, and what this means is we have access to great resources to make a very, very special camp experience at a really good price. Fantastic skills session including group open water swimming, an incredibly rich educational experience with lactic testing, underwater swim video and sports nutrition, and some challenging and fun training as well, and much more. Finish the week with an amazing race experience. Go home happy and tired, with the tools to race better than ever this season.

At the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria is the capital city of British Columbia, and is known for its seaside beauty, historic harbor and Parliament buildings, and the world renowned Butchart Gardens. There is a great coffee and restaurant culture for those who like to socialize, and ample opportunity to experience the natural beauty of a city with the most parks-per-capita of any city in Canada. Travel to Victoria via the Victoria International Airport or by ferry from Vancouver.

8:00am – 5:00pm: Bike Lactate Testing, Training Zone Determination + Aerobic ride cool down – Pacific Institute of Sport Excellence
10:00am – 11:00am: Yoga, group 1
3:00pm – 4:00pm: Yoga, group 2
6:00pm – Group Social
