(ISN) – The Island Centre of Excellence (I.C.E.) will be holding an Open House this Saturday beginning at 12 Noon to, in part announce the opening of Compton Sports Training Systems and Pacific Coast Hockey Academy at the I.C.E. Center.

I.C.E. is  pleased to announce the Grand Opening of the Island Center of Excellence. The I.C.E. center is the home of the Pacific Coast Hockey Academy, a school of excellence focused on developing hockey players into their careers; Compton Sports Training Systems, a high performance training company focused on custom hockey programs; and Westshore Hockey League, a fast-paced, fun league dedicated to 3 on 3 for youth and adults.

The grand opening is Saturday March 10, 2012 from 12:00pm – 6pm.

The Open house is an opportunity for athletes and parents to come and see the facility, take part in the programs that are being offered in the facility, and to learn about the Pacific Coast Hockey Academy for elite Bantam and Midget Players.

During the Open House, new technology will be showcased plus the shooting gallery, skating treadmill, dryland training and the ice surface.  Hot Dogs will be for sale and all proceeds from the day will go to the Pacific Coast Hockey Academy Scholarship Fund.

The I.C.E. training facility is located at 2657 Wilfert Road in Colwood, just off Wale Rd., in behind Saunders Subaru.  Hope to see you there!
