The Vikes women finished in second place (44-over-par-332), 14 strokes behind No. 1 Concordia (30-over-par-318). Behind Woodland was Pamela Desmarais (Victoria, BC), who shot 82 to tie Concordia’s Sonny Powers for eighth place at 10-over-par. Rounding out the top ten was Vikes golfer Emily Nicol (Kelowna, B.C.) who shot an 84 to finish 12-over-par.
Concordia’s Sara Molyneux shot a 3-over-par-75 to sit on top of the leader board with second-place finisher Sarah Crofchek of Northwest Christian, who shot 4-over-par.
Also competing for the Vikes was Brynn Tomie (Bedford, NS) (T-15, +16) and Victoria Kondrak (Victoria, BC) (T-17, +17).
The Vikes women will complete their second and final round tomorrow, Mar. 20, on the Camas Meadows golf course.
