(ISN) – Rugby Canada is pleased to release purchase information regarding tickets for their upcoming match versus U.S.A on Saturday, June 9th, 2012 at Richardson Stadium in Kingston, Ontario, kick off 2 pm (local).

“It’s always great to have a quality team coming to Canada to play us,” said head coach Kieran Crowley. “It gives us the opportunity to perform at home in front of our supporters and carry on the momentum that was created by the 2011 World Cup coverage.”

Initiated in 1977, the Can/AM match is always a competitive game with our neighbours to the south. Both teams will be looking to renew the rivalry which saw the Canadian squad, currently ranked 13th in the world, take last year’s “Battle at BMO” by a score of 28-22.

“Traditional rivals,” said Crowley of the 17th ranked American squad. “It is always a battle against them that everyone involved looks forward to.”

With a huge crowd coming out to watch Canada in last year’s game against the USA, we are hoping to see another packed stadium to support our squad out on the field. Come out and cheer on our National Senior Men’s team as they do battle with the American squad on the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812. It was a great match last year and promises to be an even better one this year. Will history repeat itself?
