The Celebration of Champions recognizes the outstanding individual and team accomplishments from the past varsity season.

Major individual awards to be distributed include the Provost Award for Excellence, Robert T. Wallace Shield Rookie of the Year awards, Chancellor’s Award, Publisher’s Award, Male and Female Athletes of the Year and the President’s Cup.
The UVic Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2012 will also be inducted at the banquet. This year’s inductees include women’s field hockey player Lynne Beecroft, swimmer Michael Edgson and the 1981-82 women’s basketball team.
