Eleven Rams to Vie for Spot on Team BC U18 Football Squad


Victoria (ISN) – The U-18 Team BC Football Mini-Camp selections have just been released and the Mount Douglas Rams are impressively represented by 11 candidates which is 2nd only to Terry Fox which leads the Province with 13 selections.

The following Mount Douglas players have been selected: Peter Allan (Defensive Line), Callum Duke (Kicker), Peter Elwood (Linebacker), Mitch Pearse (Linebacker), Trevor Ridley (Linebacker), Christian Krause (Offensive Line), Aarmin Purewal (Offensive Line), Ashton MacKinnon (Quarterback), Mason Swift (Running Back), Marcus Davis (Receiver) and Brian Dowds (Receiver).

Two players from Belmont were also selected for the Team BC Mini-Camp: Brodie Henderson (Offensive Line) and Derien Hunchak (Receiver).

Mark Townsend from Mount Douglas returns to the Team BC coaching staff and will be responsible for Running Backs and Special Teams.

The Mini-Camp will be held the May Long Weekend at Simon Fraser University, with the final 40 man roster determined thereafter.
