Cougars Set to Begin Quest for Cyclone Taylor Cup

(ISN) – The Victoria Cougars conclude the 2011-12 campaign with their final road trip of the season as they head to Abbotsford to compete for the BC Junior Hockey Cyclone Taylor Cup.

On Wednesday, April 11, the Cougars will depart the Archie Browning Sports Centre, located at 1151 Esquimalt Road, at 9:30 a.m. From there, they will catch the 11:00 a.m. sailing from Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen and arrive into Abbotsford at approximately 2:00 p.m.

After earning a berth in the 2012 Cyclone Taylor Cup, Victoria has joined the host Abbotsford Pilots, the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League champion Beaver Valley Nitehawks, and the Pacific International Junior Hockey League champion Delta Ice Hawks in a four-team round-robin tournament.
