Day 2 of the BC Baseball Vancouver Island Zone Pee Wee ‘A’ Championship is in the books and the Victoria Tigers sit atop the standings with a perfect 3-0 record in Pool A. The Victoria Wildcats and Comox are also undefeated at 2-0 in Pool B.

The Tigers started day 2 with a big win 22-1 win over Nanaimo then won a battle with Ladysmith 4-3 to close out the day at Carnarvon Park. The Victoria Mustangs improved their record to 1-1 with a 6-2 victory over Ladysmith, who sit at 1-2.

Over at Esquimalt’s Lions Park the Wildcats downed Lake Cowichan 9-6 while Comox defeated Campbell River 11-1 in Pool B action.

All the teams are back in action today to wrap up Pool play with games going at 9am, Noon, 3pm and 6pm at both Carnarvon and Esquimalt’s Lions Parks.

The Championship wraps up on Sunday with cross over games at 10am at Carnarvon and Esquimalt’s Lions Parks and the Championship game scheduled for 2pm at Esquimalt’s Lions Park.
