Victoria Eagles Kurt Horne Tapped for National Junior Instructional Camp

September 20, 2012, Victoria, BC (ISN) – The Victoria Eagles organization is pleased to announce that Senior Eagle pitcher Kurt Horne has been named to the Roster of the Junior National Team’s Fall Instructional camp. The camp will occur in late October at the Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando, Florida.

Kurt is coming off a very successful rookie campaign with the Senior Eagles, logging 55 IP, with an ERA of 2.00 and a 5-2 record. He also helped the BC Selects this summer capture a Silver medal at the Canada Cup logging 8 IP while striking out 10, including 2 shutout innings in the final.
