Busy Week Ahead for Saanich Braves

September 25, 2012, Victoria, BC – After a strong 3-1 start the Saanich Jr. B Braves face their biggest test of the early season this week as they play three league games on three consecutive nights.

The Braves take on the Westshore Wolves on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 7:30 p.m. at Bear Mountain Arena and travel to Nanaimo Ice Centre to take on the Nanaimo Buccaneers on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 7:30 p.m.

The Braves return home to Pearkes Arena on Friday Sept. 28 to take on the Kerry Park Islanders at 6:30 p.m.

As part of the team’s 45th anniversary celebrations the first 45 fans through the door at every home game during the 2012-13 season will receive a keepsake or prize donated by the Saanich Braves or a team sponsor.

Braves’ fans first chance to catch their team in action in October is Friday Oct. 5, when the Nanaimo Buccaneers visit Pearkes Arena.

A big crowd is expected on Friday Oct. 12 as the team takes on the Westshore Wolves at Pearkes Arena and celebrates Braves School Night.  Elementary schools throughout Saanich will receive tickets for the game and a large turnout of young fans is anticipated. The A&W Root Bear will be on hand to add to the fun. Interested schools can contact the Braves office for tickets and more information at 250-590-3666.

Game day tickets are available at the door for every Braves Home Game throughout the season. Fans can get in on the 45th season action by purchasing season tickets, available for $150 for adults, $120 for seniors and $90 for children. Season tickets will be available at every Braves home game or by calling 250 -590-3666.
