Cougars Double Up Rockets

October 5, 2012, Prince George – The Prince George Cougars scored five times in the first period en route to a 6-3 win over the Kelowna Rockets in Western Hockey League action in Prince George on Friday night.

 

Ryan Olsen scored twice in a losing cause for the Rockets, who were outshot 43-30 by the Cougars and trailed the game 5-2 after a frantic first period.

The Cougars were led by Zach Pachiro and Brock Hirsche, who each scored twice.

Colton Sissons also scored for the Rockets.

The two teams will meet again in Prince George on Saturday night.

The Rockets return to Prospera Place on Wednesday when they host Spokane.
