October 5, 2012, Victoria, BC (ISN) – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks were in town on Friday night to take on the Victoria Grizzlies in BCHL action at Bear Mountain Arena. The Grizzlies were looking to get back into the win column after closing out the month of September with a pair of losses. The struggling Silverbacks were just what the doctor ordered as the Grizzlies used a 3-point performance from captain Zach Urban to earn a 3-1 decision.
The Grizzlies wasted little time opening the scoring when Brett Hartskamp banged home a rebound off an Urban point shot just 49 seconds in to the game.

The Grizzlies added to their lead 5 minutes later when Urban collected his 1st goal of the season, a power play marker to put Victoria up 2-0.
Leo Fitzgerald then potted his 4th goal of the season with assists to brother Myles and Urban to stake a 3-0 lead with just under 8:00 gone in regulation time.
