November 9, 2012, PRINCE ALBERT, SK – The Prince Albert Raiders shut out the Seattle Thunderbirds 3-0 Friday night at the Art Hauser Centre in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Prince Albert goalie Luke Siemens (12-4-0-2) stopped all 28 Seattle shots to get the shutout.

This was the T-Birds fifth game of a six-game road trip to the East Division. The T-Birds finish out the road trip on Saturday at 5:05pm against the Saskatoon Blades at the Credit Union Centre.

Prince Albert (13-5-0-2) opened the scoring with a power-play goal by Mark McNeil at 11:17 of the first period. Mike Winther and Leon Draisaitl had the assists.

Seattle (8-10-1-0) outshot Prince Albert 8-6 in the first period.

The Raiders extended the lead to 2-0 when Dakota Conroy scored at 6:06 of the second period, just after a power play ended. Jonas Knutsen and Logan McVeigh had the assists.

The Raiders outshot the T-Birds 17-9 in the second period and led 23-17 in shots after two periods.

Winther gave the Raiders a 3-0 lead at 8:46 of the third period. McNeil and Josh Morrissey had the assists.

The T-Birds outshot the Raiders 11-8 the third period but Prince Albert finished the game with a 31-28 advantage in shots.

Seattle goalie Brandon Glover stopped 28 of 31 shots and his record is now 7-7-1-0.
