Cougars Keep Rolling With Win Over Storm

November 15, 2012, ESQUIMALT, BC – The Victoria Cougars beat the Campbell River Storm 9-4 Thursday night for their 15th straight win.

Brody Coulter tied a season high six points with two goals and four assists.

Victoria (21-0-0-1), who held period leads of 4-2 and 7-3, also received goals from Mark Walton, Brandon Egli, Garrett Brandsma, Graham Zagrodney, Dane Feeney, Jordan Davie, and Sam Rice.

Ben Kinshella chipped in with four assists for the Cougars.

Replying for Campbell River (4-15-0-2) was Chris Allen, Colin Blake, Jesse Spooner, and Bryan Read.

Michael Herringer got the win in net as Victoria outshot the Storm 46-23.

The Cougars went 5-for-8 on the power play while going 3-for-4 on the penalty kill.

In Nanaimo, Jordan Levesque scored three goals as the Buccaneers rolled to a 4-1 victory over the Oceanside Generals.

Next game for Victoria is Sunday, November 18 against the Comox Valley Glacier Kings. Game time at the Archie Browning Sports Centre, located at 1151 Esquimalt Road, is 3:30 p.m.
