Clippers Keep Busy With a Number of Roster Moves

December 3, 2012, Nanaimo, BC – The Nanaimo Clippers have been a busy bunch on and off the ice in the past week making a number of roster moves to bolster their roster for the remainder of the 2012-2013 BCHL season.

The Clippers started off by trading away Luke Gordon and Jesse Neher to the Cowichan Valley Capitals for Capitals top scorer Matthew Grant and sending AP Spencer Turcottee back home.

Following that, the Clippers traded Greg Trichilo to the Woodstock Slammers for future considerations, and traded defensema David Iacono to the Aurora Tigers also for future considerations.

Spencer who played in his 9 games as an AP got 1 goal and 1 assist.

Greg who came to the Clippers following a trade early on in the season, has played 16 games with the Clippers tallying 2 goals and 2 assists. He now heads back to Ontario.

David Iacono who is currently injured, played in 14 games with the team earning 1 goal and 6 assists. David also heads back to Ontario.

The Clippers play in their final home game of 2012 on Sunday, December 9th VS the Surrey Eagles.
