December 7, 2012, Victoria, BC – The Victoria Royals are pleased to announce the details of their annual Teddy Bear Toss Game taking place Saturday, December 8th. Puck drop is set for 7:05 p.m.

Saturday night is one of our favourite nights of the year; it’s Teddy Bear Toss Game! Fans are encouraged to bring their new or gently-used teddy bears and stuffed toys to the game and throw them on the ice following the Royals’ first goal.

Bears and stuffed toys will be donated to The Salvation Army, The Zone’s Christmas Toy Drive benefiting the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul as well as Royals’ hospital visits throughout the season! The Times Colonist Christmas Fund and TLC Fund for Kids will also be selling bears at Gate 1 by donation while supplies last. Save-On-Foods will be providing plastic bags upon entrance for those bringing stuffed toys from home to protect them from the ice.

Japan Camera will also be available on Wednesday for fans to have a Christmas photo taken with Marty the Marmot! Located at Gate 1 before the game from 6:00-6:45 p.m., Japan Camera will be snapping pictures for a suggested donation of $5 to the Mustard Seed Food Bank.

Season tickets, mini packs and single game tickets are still available. Guarantee yourself the best seats by visiting www.victoriaroyals.com, calling 250-220-7889, or emailing tickets@victoriaroyals.com before it’s too late!
