December 14, Nanaimo BC – The Nanaimo Buccaneers are back to their winning ways thumping the Kerry Park Islanders 5-1 on Thursday night.

To open the scoring in the first it was a late goal at 18:30 off a rebound from Will McNamara, while in the second the scoring continued with Jordan Levesque from Carpentier and Smith, and then another one at 6:10 from Cole Newman and to make it a 4-0 game Daniel Foglietta adds a shorthanded goal.

However, late in the second the Islanders look for the come back with a goal by Brendan Gowanlock but in the third Lyden Eddy says they aren’t getting it, by popping in a goal of his own.

The Buccaneers still remain top in their division with 34 points and now head to Comox on Saturday to play the Comox Glacier Kings. The two have faced each other 5 times this year with the Buccaneers winning 3 of the 5.
