December 16, 2012, Kelowna, BC., (ISN) – The Kelowna Rockets will dress another of its 2012 bantam draft class today as it closes out a five game Western Hockey League road trip in Calgary.

Goaltender Jake Morrissey will dress as the back-up to Jackson Whistle when the Rockets take on Calgary, looking to extend a six game winning streak and win all five games of its road trip.

Morrissey, a Calgary native, was selected in the fifth round of the 2012 WHL bantam draft. He follows in the footsteps of Nick Merkley, the team’s first overall pick, who played last night in a 6-1 win over Red Deer.

Morrissey will dress with Rockets starter Jordon Cooke out of the lineup with a lower body injury.

The Rockets have wins over Kootenay, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat and Red Deer so far on its trip.
