Olympians receive Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal


TORONTO – Four Olympic swimmers are among the group of London 2012 Olympians and Paralympians receiving the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.

The Honourable Bal Gosal, Minister of State (Sport), presented the medals at a ceremony at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto Friday.

Brittany MacLean, Joe Bartoch, Blake Worsley, and Stephanie Horner were recognized. In addition, Alex Cranfield-Sinclair and coach Reg Chappell were honoured as builders in the Paralympic category.
