January 25, 2013, Nanaimo, BC – The Nanaimo Junior A Timbermen, under the Atlas Sports Group are looking for reliable, hardworking and dynamic people to volunteer for the 2013 season and playoffs.
Volunteers must represent themselves in a respectful way to the fans, players, staff and fellow volunteers while positively promoting the Atlas Sports Group, including but not limited to the Nanaimo Junior A Timbermen.
Some volunteer positions may require specific skills and experience and volunteers may be required to attend a training and orientation session in advance.
All applications may not be accepted; depending on the amount of applications we receive. We would love to try and get everyone to volunteer at least one game in the 2013 season.
All volunteers are required to be at Frank Crane Arena half an hour before the door opens, and may be asked to stay half an hour following the game. Please remember although you may be a fan we please ask you do not cheer or boo any team, and in some cases you may be asked to do a position where you cannot see the entire game.
High school student, university student, adult or senior, we are accepting applications from anyone aged 16-80 who is interested in being part of the operations of the Nanaimo Junior A Timbermen.
