Canadian Athlete Quotes:

“I love racing at home with so many familiar faces and maple-leafed gloves cheering you on. Whistler is one of the greatest tracks on the circuit, and I’m excited to race on the new start ramp that was recently built. Hopefully the Canadian Team will get to show off some home ice advantage, and post solid results.”

…Arianne Jones, Calgary

“We’ve always had so many runs on the Whistler track that I think the entire team will be coming into Worlds comfortable and confidant. The best part of racing at home is having our friends and family there to cheer us on.”

…Tristan Walker, Cochrane, Alta.

“I’m super excited to be able to race a World Championships at home. For that race to be on the Olympic Track where I feel I have some unfinished business makes it even more exciting. I love the feeling of racing in Whistler and knowing there will be home crowd energy helping Team Canada and myself down the track.”

…Sam Edney, Calgary
