February 6, 2013, Prince George, BC (ISN) – Members of the Prince George Cougars Hockey Club have agreed to participate in a CBC story that involves tracking Canadians and their nutritional intake.
The story will eventually run on the popular show, Marketplace.
“We are happy to be a part of an interesting study being done in various spots around the country,” said Prince George Cougars Vice President Brandi Brodsky. “We welcome the opportunity to showcase both the Prince George Cougars and the City of Prince George on such a highly respected program like Marketplace.”
This test is open to players, staff, and billets. The CBC Marketplace crew will be in Prince George from February 6th through February 8th conducting the tests. For 40 years now, Marketplace continues to be the CBC’s highest-rated television current affairs series. Per CBC’s website, “This is television that touches Canadians’ lives.”
