February 8, 2013, Prince George, BC (ISN) – The Prince George Cougars are hosting Minor Hockey Night at the CN Centre on Friday, February 22nd, when the Cougars play host to the Portland Winterhawks. All local Minor Hockey teams (and their parents and siblings) are invited to attend.

“We support the Prince George Minor Hockey Association throughout the year with our 50/50 program as well as various other donations. We also donate our bus for their use when available,” said Prince George Cougars Vice President Brandi Brodsky. “This is a great way to build on our relationship with the teams on an individual basis and gives them a chance to spend quality one-on-one time with members of our team.”

As an incentive to participate, two players from each Pee-Wee, Bantam and Midget teams can win the chance join the Prince George Cougars and their Strength & Conditioning Coach, Kris Russell, from Factory Hockey Training. (

One lucky team in the Initiation, Novice or Atom ranks can also win the chance to have the Prince George Cougars attend their hockey practice. All players are encouraged to wear their team jersey that night, as the winners will be announced during the 2nd intermission.

The entire Prince George Cougars team will be available after the game for an autograph session.
