“Name the Mascot” Contest Begins Sunday
February 9, 2013, Victoria, BC – The Victoria HarbourCats baseball club has unveiled the team’s new mascot and is inviting all fans to suggest a name for the newest member of the HarbourCats family.
The Times-Colonist newspaper is hosting the “Name the Mascot” contest, which will kick-off on Sunday, February 10th. The contest will close February 24th, 2013 at 11:59pm.
Fans can enter by e-mailing their name, age, address and daytime phone number to firstname.lastname@example.org with “HarbourCats” in the subject line. Fans should include a name choice and explain why they chose it in 50 words or less.
Entries will be judged by Victoria HarbourCats staff based on creativity, accuracy of description, marketability, and communication of the HarbourCats brand.
The Grand Prize Winner will receive two (2) season tickets in the Blue Reserved section ($550 value total). Two (2) runner up prizes consisting of one (1) ten game yellow reserved flex pack EACH ($99 value each) will also be awarded.
